Quality Inspector
Mon-Fri 8am-4:30pm
Pay is $20-25 per hour, DOE
This Broken Arrow climate controlled company is looking to hire a new Quality Inspector!
- JOB Duties:
- Carries out inspection activities in accordance with established quality plans, engineering specifications and procedures in order to verify that the product meets specified requirements.
- Must be able to effectively use, read and interpret various precision inspection tools.
- Performs incoming, in-process and final dimensional and visual inspection of materials and assemblies to determine compliance.
- Electronically records the results to provide evidence that the product has been inspected, whether accepted or rejected.
- The Inspector is required to handle any nonconforming product in accordance with established work instructions and other quality system procedures.
- Must be able to read and interpret Engineering drawings and Customer specifications.
- Detail oriented and should have experience with inspection on raw stock, customer components, assemblies, etc.
- Inspector will work closely with Manufacturing to ensure full compliance to Engineering requirements.
Requirements:
- Able to work overtime.
- Able to work cooperatively with others.
- Able to deal respectfully with the public, customers, vendors, other employees, and management.
- Able to perform multiple tasks concurrently.
- Able to work in a fast-paced environment.
Experience with GDT, dial calipers, micrometers, protractors, and various precision measuring instruments preferred. Personal computer skills including electronic mail, Word, Excel, record keeping, routine database activity, etc. are preferred.
