Job Title: Shipping and Receiving Clerk
Location: Tulsa, OK
Shift: 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM, Monday - Friday
Pay Rate: $18-$19 per hour, depending on experience (DOE)
Job Description:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and reliable Shipping and Receiving Clerk to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in managing the incoming and outgoing shipments, ensuring accurate documentation and handling of materials, and supporting the warehouse team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Receive and inspect incoming shipments, ensuring that the correct parts are received in good condition.
- Read and interpret blueprints to verify the accuracy and specifications of parts and materials received.
- Use a tape measure to verify dimensions of incoming parts to 1/16” or better.
- Accurately record and label inventory items as they are received.
- Prepare and package items for shipping according to company guidelines.
- Maintain accurate shipping and receiving logs and reports.
- Assist in organizing inventory in the warehouse, ensuring proper storage and easy retrieval of parts.
- Ensure that all shipping and receiving areas are clean, organized, and safe.
- Operate a forklift (preferred but not required).
- Be available for occasional overtime, including weekends (Saturday or Sunday) when necessary to meet shipping deadlines (this occurs infrequently).
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Ability to read blueprints and accurately measure parts using a tape measure to 1/16” or better.
- Basic computer skills for data entry and inventory management.
- Forklift operation experience is preferred, but not required.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to lift heavy items and work in a physically demanding environment.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Strong communication skills and a team-oriented attitude.
- Flexibility to work occasional overtime and weekends as needed.

* Adjust controls to guide, position, or move equipment, such as cranes, booms, or cameras.
* Pack containers and re-pack damaged containers.
* Guide loads being lifted to prevent swinging.
* Wash out cargo containers or storage areas.
* Carry needed tools or supplies from storage or trucks and return them after use.
* Shovel material, such as gravel, ice, or spilled concrete, into containers or bins or onto conveyors.
* Connect electrical equipment to power sources so that it can be tested before use.
* Carry out general yard duties, such as performing shunting on railway lines.
* Rig or dismantle props or equipment, such as frames, scaffolding, platforms, or backdrops, using hand tools.
* Bundle and band material such as fodder or tobacco leaves, using banding machines.
* Adjust or replace equipment parts, such as rollers, belts, plugs, or caps, using hand tools.
