Job Title: Shipping and Receiving Specialist
Pay: $21 per hour
Shift: Monday – Friday, 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM
Job Summary: We are seeking a reliable and experienced Shipping and Receiving Specialist to join our team. This role is essential for ensuring that our shipping and receiving processes are smooth, accurate, and efficient. The ideal candidate will have experience in handling shipments, building skids/crates, and using ERP systems. Training on our ERP software, Made 2 Manage, will be provided.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate forklifts to load, unload, and transport materials safely and efficiently.
- Utilize the ERP system, Made 2 Manage, to track and manage inventory and shipments.
- Prepare, build, and secure skids (crates) for outgoing shipments to ensure products are transported safely.
- Coordinate and verify incoming and outgoing shipments, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
- Perform basic data entry and maintain accurate records of shipping and receiving activities.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure timely and accurate inventory management.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in shipping and receiving.
- Forklift operation experience is required.
- Familiarity with ERP systems; experience with Made 2 Manage is a plus, but training will be provided.

* Contact carrier representatives to make arrangements or to issue instructions for shipping and delivery of materials.
* Determine shipping methods, routes, or rates for materials to be shipped.
* Compute amounts, such as space available, shipping, storage, or demurrage charges, using computer or price list.
* Compare shipping routes or methods to determine which have the least environmental impact.
