Duties
- Assist in the implementation of individualized treatment plans under the supervision of licensed mental health professionals.
- Monitor patient behavior and report any significant changes or concerns to the clinical team.
- Provide crisis management support during emergencies, ensuring the safety of all patients.
- Engage patients in therapeutic activities that promote emotional and psychological well-being.
- Collect and maintain accurate data on patient progress and behavior for medical documentation.
- Administer medications as prescribed and ensure proper documentation of medication administration.
- Support patients with daily living activities, including personal hygiene and meal preparation.
- Maintain confidentiality of patient records and adhere to all regulatory guidelines regarding medical records management.
Experience
Candidates should possess relevant experience or training in mental health care. Preferred skills include:
- Knowledge of Applied Behavior Analysis techniques.
- Experience in PTSD Care and working with individuals with disabilities.
- Proficiency in behavior management strategies.
- Familiarity with addiction counseling practices.
- Strong skills in medical documentation and record keeping.
- Certified QMHP-A License from the Commonwealth of Virginia
