CNC Operators are highly skilled professionals, able to work with great concentration and precision. They must be responsible and comply with all safety guidelines. A keen eye for detail and great mechanical aptitude are also essential. The goal is to produce high quality parts and materials by programming machines to perform the right operations. Your job is important since some materials are not easy to shape or handle manually or with conventional equipment.
We are looking for candidates to work our Paint Department on Friday, Saturday and Sunday from 7:00 AM – 5:30 PM.
Duties/Responsibilities:
- Properly load and unload materials in a safe and efficient manner to ensure the integrity of the manufacturing process, prevent damage to the equipment and avoid injury to self and others.
- Monitor proper cell operation to detect workpiece defects or machine malfunctions, adjusting machines as necessary.
- Inspect pieces for defects, and measure pieces to determine the accuracy of machining operations, using rules, templates, and other measuring instruments.
- Perform ongoing and scheduled preventative maintenance tasks.
- Perform job changeovers including the switching of work holding and cutting tool packages, machine or cell controller programs or parameters and verification of task completion.
- Operate peripheral equipment as needed to maintain production.
- Observes and analyses tasks and processes to provide feedback for continuous improvement efforts.
- Works in and maintains an orderly work environment as defined by 5S principles.

Education and Experience:
- High school diploma or equivalent; certificate or diploma in engineering or relevant discipline is a plus.
- Proven experience as CNC Operator.
- Skill in operating CNC machinery and tooling as well as precision measurement tools.
- Ability to read and interpret mechanical documents and drawings.
- Computer savvy with basic understanding of computers.
- Mechanical aptitude and good mat skills.
Physical Requirements:
- Required to use hands and sense of touch to operate CNC controls.
- Must be able to stand for long periods of time.
- Must be able to frequently lift or move up to 75 pounds.
