DEPARTMENT DESCRIPTION:
10 East provides geriatric care to patients 70 years of age and older. Acute Care of Elderly (ACE) is a specialized medical unit that uses interdisciplinary and customized protocols to reduce complications of hospitalization in geriatric patients, and addresses social barriers to discharge. Patients are admitted through geriatric center clinics, emergency departments, physician offices, and sub-acute rehab facilities, and hospital transfers.
SUMMARY:
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
Education: Requires high school diploma or equivalent
Experience: Three to six months previous related experience
Preferred Customer Service, Retail, Clerical Experience
