What are the responsibilities and job description for the Food Service Aide - Full Time or Per Diem - Mercy Fitzgerald Hospital position at Trinity Health Mid-Atlantic?
Schedule: rotating shifts, must be flexible to work every other weekend
- Full Time - 40hrs a week
- Per Diem - no set schedule, rotating schedule
Shift: days
The main duties of our Dietary Aides are to complete daily responsibilities that may include meal assembly, cold food preparation, utility and dish room functions Preparing meals, snacks and beverages following specific procedures
Serving meals, ensuring food safety and hygiene procedures are followed at all times
Staying current on the individual procedures and protocols for their facilities, including state-specified rules and regulations
Setting up and taking down dining areas and assisting with kitchen maintenance and general cleaning
Assisting with educational programs on nutrition
Talking to patients on the phone and receiving their meal order.
Qualifications
HS diploma or equivalency (preferred)
Barista or food service experience
