Job Description:
We are seeking a skilled RN/LPN to join our team at Dunes Family Medicine. As a member of our clinical team, you will be responsible for providing medical support to assigned patients, utilizing the nursing process and meeting established standards within the clinic.
You will be accountable for assigned patients, demonstrate an understanding of nursing and its issues, and be an advocate for patients/families and nursing. Your role will involve promoting and maintaining a safe and calm environment for complex patients by ensuring appropriate supplies, equipment, and necessary services.
Key Responsibilities:
- Administer medications and treatments/procedures as directed, and as appropriate for the patient's medical care, in collaboration with the multi-disciplinary team.
- Utilize internal and community resources in planning care and initiating referrals.
- Document nursing interventions and patient/family responses accurately, legibly, and in compliance with clinic policies.
Requirements:
- One to two years nursing experience preferred.
- Strong interpersonal, consultative, and relationship-building skills to initiate and develop productive collaborative partnerships with all levels of leadership across the organization.
- Ability to read the subtle nuances of situations and react/plan accordingly.
