Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse to join our Medical/Surgical unit. The ideal candidate will provide high-quality patient care in a fast-paced environment, utilizing their expertise in medical/surgical nursing.
Duties
- Administer injections and medications as prescribed
- Perform discharge planning and patient education
- Maintain accurate medical records and documentation
- Assist with sterile processing procedures
- Provide care in trauma medicine situations
- Conduct mammography screenings
- Assist with patient lifts and transfers
- Utilize MDS for patient assessments
- Perform esthetic laser treatments
- Proficient in catheterization procedures
Experience
- Previous experience in administering injections is required
- Experience in discharge planning is preferred
- Familiarity with medical records management is beneficial
- Knowledge of sterile processing techniques is an advantage
- Experience in trauma medicine is a plus
- Proficiency in mammography screenings is desirable
- Ability to perform patient lifts and transfers effectively
- Experience with MDS assessments is beneficial
- Knowledge of esthetic laser treatments is advantageous
- Competency in catheterization procedures
Job Types: Travel nursing, Contract
Pay: $2,000.00 - $2,100.00 per week
