We are seeking an experienced professional to lead our business office functions, encompassing accounting, payroll, personnel, bookkeeping, secretarial, and medical records management.
Responsibilities:
- Maintain accurate accounts payable documents and ensure timely submission to the corporate office.
- Respond to resident inquiries, provide facility tours, and coordinate resident admissions.
- Review monthly resident billing statements, follow up on outstanding balances, and reconcile petty cash boxes.
- Manage resident spending accounts, including ledger cards, checking accounts, and petty cash boxes.
- Prepare deposit reports for central office and perform other business office duties as directed by the Administrator.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Previous office experience desired
- Background in nursing home operations beneficial
- Experience with insurance billing essential
