Position Summary
Trinity Life Sciences is looking for a driven, team-oriented Summer Intern who is passionate about Diversity, Equity and Inclusion to join our DEI Strategy team. You will get hands-on experience working with an established and dynamic DEI team and get exposure to a variety of projects related employee engagement, workplace inclusion, and general DEI programming in the corporate setting. A successful candidate will be able to manage priorities, be proactive, and communicate with key stakeholders across the organization. This Intern will have the opportunity to engage with Interns in other departments and participate in programming throughout the Summer. This Summer Internship will begin with a comprehensive company and team-specific training program, as well as on-the-job learning sessions.
The internship program will run for 9 weeks from June 16, 2023-August 15, 2025 based in our Waltham, MA office. Trinity practices a hybrid model with expectations to be in the office at least two days per week.

Compensation & Benefits
- Compensation: $27/hour
- Hours Expectation: 40 hrs/week
- Waltham Office: A shuttle service conveniently runs from the Alewife T stop on the Red Line directly to our office – you can find
- Participate in meetings with the DEI Strategy Team to gain an understanding of the organization’s intended DEI goals for the 2024 program year
- Research best practices on DEI and employee engagement to help inform strategy and initiatives
- Provide programmatic and logistical support to the DEI Strategy Team
- Assist in the drafting and distribution of the DEI Newsletter
- Review and refine 2025 DEI Calendar
- Participate and take notes in meetings, as necessary
- Oversee Events Request Form and Perspective Group/Affinity Group interest emails
- Complete and facilitate an analysis of the DEI Roadmap and provide recommendations to the DEI Strategy Team
- Analyze and review DEI trends for 2025 to recommend key concepts for implementation

- Able to commit to the full duration of the Internship program, and follow Trinity’s hybrid model
- Must be authorized to work in the United States
- Interest in exploring a career in People Operations and DEI is a must
- Ability to maintain a high degree of confidentiality
- Proficiency in MS office and/or tech-savvy
- Highly organized
- Complete tasks in a timely and efficient manner
- Communicate with other team members
