Responsibilities
- Maintain the general ledger by recording all financial transactions accurately and timely.
- Prepare monthly bank reconciliations to ensure all accounts are balanced.
- Manage accounts payable, ensuring timely payments to vendors and suppliers.
- Process accounts receivable, including invoicing clients and tracking payments.
- Utilize financial software such as QuickBooks, Xero, or Sage for bookkeeping tasks.
- Assist in preparing financial reports and statements for management review.
- Support technical accounting functions as needed, including public accounting tasks.
- Collaborate with other departments to gather necessary financial information.
Experience
- Proven experience in bookkeeping
- Strong knowledge of general ledger accounting principles and practices.
- Proficiency in financial software such as QuickBooks, Xero, Sage, or similar tools is required.
- Experience with bank reconciliation processes and accounts payable/receivable management is essential.
- Familiarity with corporate accounting practices and technical accounting standards is required.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills are required to manage multiple tasks effectively.
