Worship Media Assistant
REPORTS TO: Pastor
WORK HOURS: Part-Time 20 hrs. per week
SCHEDULE: In Office

General Nature of Work:
The Part-Time Worship Media Assistant is responsible for creating and executing quality visual presentations that enhance the worship experience for our congregation. This role requires a creative and technically proficient individual with a strong understanding of the visual impact the worship media has in supporting a meaningful worship.
Principal Responsibilities:
· Presentation Design:
o Design and produce engaging worship slides, including lyrics, scripture, announcements, and special elements (backgrounds, transitions, motion graphic)
o Create presentations that complement the worship style (traditional, blended, contemporary)
o Ensure presentations are theologically sound, visually appealing and easy to read.
· Technical Support:
o Operate and maintain worship media equipment (projectors, screens, TVs, video and sound systems
o Troubleshoot technical issues and ensure smooth operation of all audio-visual systems during services
· Worship Support
o Collaborate with the worship team to create a cohesive and impactful worship experience
o Contribute creatively to the overall worship feel and atmosphere
o Assist with the integration of media elements (video, live feeds) in to worship services.
· Office Support:
o Greeting visitors and answering the church phone when the Administrative Assistant is away from the office
Required Qualifications:
· Proficient in presentation software (e.g., ProPresenter, PowerPoint, KeyNote)
· Strong creative graphic design skills
· Experience with audio-visual equipment and basic troubleshooting
· Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
· Ability to work independently and as part of a team
· Strong interpersonal and communication skills
· Passion for worship and a commitment to serving the church community
Preferred Qualifications:
· Experience in a church or other performing arts setting
· Experience with live streaming and online worship platforms
· Music skills (knowledge of lyrics, songs in a church setting)
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $18.94 - $20.09 per hour
Expected hours: 20 per week
