Trinity Products, LLC, is EMPLOYEE OWNED (YOU are an owner!) custom steel fabrication, pipe production, and steel plate and coil distribution company in need of an experienced Quality Control Inspector.
Candidates will need to be ready to work with an engaging team and possess a "roll up your sleeves and get the job done" work ethic.

The Quality Control Inspector is responsible for verifying the quality of all receiving, in-process and finished products that are produced within production and prior to shipment. The Quality Control Inspector will follow all Quality Management System processes and procedures that are in place for upholding Quality Certification Standards for the company. The successful candidate will have a background in welding and fitting with flux core as well as, knowledge of submerged arc welding process, knowledge of blueprint reading along with weld symbology, and working in a structural steel environment.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Perform receiving, in-process, and final inspections as well as documenting all required inspections accordingly.
- Perform sample inspections on larger quantity piece parts.
- Cut and perform bend testing to welder qualifications completed by production personnel
- Outbound inspections for finished materials
- Witness welder qualifications and performance qualification record’s (PQR’s)
Required Skills:
- Knowledge of a variety of measurement gauges and tools.
- Welding and Fitting experience = 3-5 years
- Blueprints and Welding Symbology = 3-5 years
- Basic Computer Skills with Microsoft products (Word, Excel, Outlook) = 3 years
- Basic Mathematics and Geometry = 2 years
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Ability to work independently and strong problem-solving skills.
- Strong attendance is a must
Preferred:
- Knowledge of AWS D1.1 Structural Welding Code current edition
- Knowledge of American Institute of Steel Construction (AISC) Building and Component standard(s)
- NDT Level II Certification within Visual Inspection and Ultrasonic Testing (Shear Wave)
- Previous experience in a Quality Control Inspector role.
- Knowledge of Welding Procedure Specifications (WPS) and Performance Qualification Records (PQR).
Physical Requirements:
- Stand for long periods of time
- Able to lift 50 – 75 lbs
- Able to work in inclement weather conditions
