The Role
The candidate will prepare detailed fabrication prints of a variety of steel structures in accordance with common detailing practices and customer provided requirements. Primary programs are Autodesk Inventor, AutoCAD, and Microsoft Excel. Qualified candidates will meet the following criteria:
1. Experience with parametric CAD software (Autodesk Inventor, SolidWorks, ProE, etc.) in order to be considered.
2. Strong grasp and understanding of circular and triangular geometry and trigonometry.
3. Ability to read and understand engineered blueprints.
4. Ability to recognize differences between real world scenarios and CAD based output and apply to drawings accordingly.
5. Able to work in a team environment as well as work without constant supervision.
Potential candidates will be asked to demonstrate their basic blueprint reading and Autodesk Inventor skill set during interview.
