Job Description:
The Revenue Manager oversees all aspects of the revenue management program across a nationwide multifamily portfolio.
Responsibilities:
- Act as company expert for revenue management and revenue tool(s) related inquiries
- Host calls to discuss property performance, position, and pricing opportunities
- Lead revenue setup and implementation process on newly acquired properties
- Maintain revenue and expiration parameters in accordance with seasonality and property goals
- Improve upon current best practices (configuration, parameter management, and business processes) related to revenue management
- Analyze market performance, supply shifts and trends and create long-term business strategies
- Attend industry conferences, virtually or in person, to continuously improve and evolve departmental strategies
- Assist in the preparation and review of yearly budgets
- Assist in the preparation and review of monthly P&L summaries
- Develop and present property strategies to optimize net operating income
- Prepare, review and negotiate contracts to manage and improve ancillary revenue streams
- Review financial statements and create operating budgets for potential new acquisitions

Physical Demands:
- The team member will be regularly required to sit, stand, walk, talk, hear, and reach using feet, legs, back, arms and hands. The employee may occasionally be required to climb. The employee will also be required to work at a personal computer and talk on the phone for extended periods of time. The ability to detect auditory and/or visual alarms and must be available to work extended/flexible hours and weekends, as needed.
Attendance/Travel:
- This full-time, on-site role is based in McLean, Virginia. Candidates must reside within commuting distance or be willing to relocate. Regular attendance and active participation at company functions and events are also required.
- Travel is expected, including overnight trips.

- 5 Years of specific revenue management experience
- Minimum 4 Years in multifamily real estate

- Ability to make informed decisions under tight deadlines
Education:
- BA/BS degree, preferably in Business, Management, Accounting, or Finance
