Division Head
Trinity School, nestled in the vibrant heart of OKC across from Edgemere Park and the Paseo Arts District, is an esteemed private K-12 institution tailored for students with diverse learning needs. As our school expands to serve more students, we seek a passionate PE Classroom Instructor to join our dynamic team.

Our Division Heads serve as the educational leaders and administrative managers of a designated division within the private school. They oversee all academic and operational excellence aspects within their division, ensuring alignment with the school's mission, vision, and values. Key responsibilities include curriculum development and implementation, faculty supervision and professional development, student support and discipline, parent communication and engagement, budget management, and strategic planning to enhance the division's educational programs and outcomes. The Division Head collaborates closely with other school leaders to foster a positive and enriching learning environment, promote a culture of continuous improvement, and uphold the school's standards of excellence. Strong leadership, communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills are essential for success in this role.
Division Head Responsibilities:
- Curriculum Development and Adaptation: Develop and adapt curriculum materials to accommodate diverse learning styles, abilities, and needs. Collaborate with teachers and specialists to ensure that instructional strategies are effective and inclusive.
- Faculty Training and Support: Provide professional development and ongoing support for teachers and staff to enhance their understanding of diverse learning needs and implement best practices in differentiated instruction and support.
- Student Support Services: Oversee support services such as individualized education plans (IEPs), accommodations, and specialized instruction for students in your division. Collaborate with counselors, therapists, and other professionals to address students' academic, social, emotional, and behavioral needs.
- Parent Collaboration: Work closely with parents and guardians to understand their child's strengths, challenges, and goals. Foster open communication and collaboration to ensure that families are actively engaged in their child's educational journey and involved in decision-making.
- Assessment and Progress Monitoring: Collaborate with the administrative team in the ongoing assessment and progress monitoring to track student growth, identify areas for improvement, and adjust support strategies as needed.
- Community Engagement: Build partnerships with community organizations, advocacy groups, and other stakeholders to enhance resources and support available to students with diverse learning needs within and outside the school environment.
- Budget Management: Develop and manage the division's budget to allocate resources effectively, prioritize initiatives, and ensure the availability of necessary materials, technology, and personnel to support student success.
- Leadership and Collaboration: Collaborate with other school leaders, including the head of school, administrators, and department heads, to foster a culture of inclusivity, equity, and excellence throughout the school community. Provide leadership and guidance to promote a positive and supportive learning environment for all students.
- Continuous Improvement: Engage in ongoing reflection, evaluation, and strategic planning to identify areas for growth and improvement within the division. Implement initiatives to enhance the quality of education and support services provided to students with diverse learning needs.
Classroom Instructor Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree, MED preferred
- Previous Teaching experience required
- Current State of Oklahoma Teaching and Administrative Certificates preferred
- Strong interpersonal, presentation, verbal, and written communication skills.
- Ability to use Classroom Management tools, including Google Suite, Google Classroom, Student Information Systems, and other technology as needed.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $41,000.00 - $60,000.00 per year
