Child Care Assistant

Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and nurturing Childcare Provider to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for working with children and a strong understanding of early childhood development. This role involves providing a safe, engaging, and educational environment for children, fostering their growth and development through various activities.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and engage with children in a safe and caring manner.
• Plan and implement age-appropriate educational activities that promote learning and development.
• Manage behavior effectively using positive reinforcement techniques.
• Provide care for toddlers, ensuring their physical, emotional, and social needs are met.
• Maintain a clean and organized classroom environment.
• Communicate regularly with parents about their child's progress and any concerns.
• Support children's social skills through group activities and playtime.
• Observe and document children's development milestones and behaviors.

Requirements

• Experience working with children in a childcare or educational setting is preferred.
• Knowledge of childhood development principles and early childhood education practices.
• Strong behavior management skills to create a positive learning environment.
• Ability to educate children through engaging activities that promote learning.
• Experience in caregiving, particularly with toddlers or preschool-aged children.
• Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with children, parents, and staff.
• A genuine love for children and commitment to their well-being.

Pay: $10.50 - $11.50 per hour
