RESPONSIBLITIES:
The Contemporary Worship Music Coordinator Interim provides leadership and oversight of the music ministry for the Contemporary Worship Service for up to 90 days.
GENERAL AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITY:
1. Plan Contemporary Worship Service music
2. Prepare all musical parts for worship, so that music can be a non-distracting, seamless vessel of worship for those around you
3. Meet and coordinate with the Contemporary Worship Service pastor to plan sermon music
4. Arranging songs (working with the Sound Technician on tracks)
5. Schedule and communicate with band volunteers
6. Lead band rehearsal (either Wednesday night or early Sunday morning with all band members)
7. Collaborate with other music directors, leaders, and programs to help maintain the unity and understanding that we are one church with multiple worship experiences
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $20.00 per hour
Expected hours: No more than 20 per week
