Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Nursery Attendant to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in providing high-quality care for the nursery-aged children (ages birth through 3) at Trinity United Methodist Church. This position requires a nurturing individual who is passionate about creating a safe and engaging atmosphere for infants and toddlers during the Sunday morning church services.
Responsibilities
- Provide attentive caregiving to children, ensuring their safety and well-being at all times.
- In coordination with parents, assist with routines such as feeding, diapering, and nap time for infants and toddlers.
- Maintain a clean and organized environment within the nursery space.
- Foster a positive and team-oriented atmosphere while working alongside volunteers of various ages.
Requirements
- Experience in caregiving or childcare settings is preferred, with skills in toddler care being highly valued.
- Strong communication skills to effectively interact with children, parents, and other team members.
- A nurturing demeanor with a genuine passion for educating and caring for young children.
- Certification in CPR/First Aid is preferred.
