Security Officer - CLEET Certified

Job Requirements:

1. High school diploma or general education degree (GED) required.
2. Minimum of 1 year experience in security field.
3. Must be armed C.L.E.E.T. certified.
4. Working knowledge of law enforcement procedures.
5. Ability to understand and follow oral and written instructions.
6. Good communication skills.

 Responsibilities:

1. Patrols buildings and grounds of the community.
2. Exams doors, windows, and gate to determine they are secure.
3. Warns violators of rule infractions, such as loitering, smoking or carrying forbidden articles.
4. Maintains general security involving local authorities as needed.
5. Inspects building equipment as outlined by the Security Manager and reports any irregularities.
6. Provides escort for emergency vehicles on campus.
7. Completes daily reports to include unusual occurrences, malfunctioning of machinery or equipment, and property damage.
8. Reports potentially unsafe conditions.

Maintains professional presence when representing Trinity Woods; exhibits degree of professionalism consistent with standards in performance, behavior, proper language, and appearance.

1. Complies with applicable safety policies and procedures as prescribed by the organization, as well as government regulations.
2. Reports any potential safety hazard(s) immediately to the supervisor or other appropriate personnel.
3. Reports any injury of a member, visitor, or employee immediately to the supervisor or other appropriate personnel.
