About the Role:
The Sr. Human Resources Generalist will play a vital role in aligning HR initiatives with business objectives, providing insights and data-driven recommendations to plant leadership and the HR Manager. This individual will also support change management initiatives, ensuring clear communication and smooth implementation, as well as addressing employee relations matters and administering HR policies and procedures.
Responsibilities:
- Partner with plant leadership and the HR Manager to drive strategic HR initiatives
- Support talent acquisition by screening and recruiting hourly employees
- Conduct new hire orientations, assist with onboarding, and support training initiatives
- Collaborate with HR leader and management to identify and implement talent-related strategies for retention, engagement, and leadership development
- Assist in performance management processes, goal-setting, and annual compensation planning
- Coordinate and manage leaves of absence, including FMLA, ADA, and military leave, ensuring compliance
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree or minimum of 5 years of relevant experience
- Bilingual Spanish and English a plus
- Ability to handle highly confidential matters in a professional manner
- General knowledge of HR Management principles and practices
- Strong experience in MS Outlook, MS Word, MS Excel, and MS PowerPoint
- Excellent written and verbal communications skills with ability to tailor communication style for the audience
- Analytical skills, strong sense of urgency and ability to prioritize work and meet numerous deadlines
