Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Equipment Maintenance Foreman to join our team at TrinityRail. This role involves overseeing the maintenance of equipment, supervising personnel, and ensuring that maintenance schedules are coordinated effectively.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage a team of maintenance personnel by setting direction and priorities.
- Provide training and continuous development opportunities for all maintenance staff.
- Collaborate with the Planner/Scheduler to coordinate maintenance schedules using CMMS.
- Foster a culture of preventive and predictive maintenance, reducing reactive approaches.
- Perform additional duties, including coordinating external inspections, project management, and ensuring workplace safety.
Requirements
- High School diploma or equivalent.
- At least 5 years of maintenance experience.
- 1-3 years of related technical supervisory experience.
- Excellent time management and organizational skills.
- Strong communication and coordination abilities.
- Familiarity with Maintenance Management Systems.
