What are the responsibilities and job description for the Technical Writing Specialist position at Trinus Corporation?
We are looking for the Technical Writing Specialist who plays a crucial role in developing precise Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) technical documents for one of our clients.
Job Type: Contract (W2 without benefits)
Contract Duration: 6 months, possible extension
Key Responsibilities:
- Create and edit GMP protocols, reports, technical summaries, and test procedures in collaboration with Engineers and Senior Technical Writers.
- Ensure documentation follows established formatting guidelines and standards.
- Work closely with team members to clarify technical references and documentation details.
- Review and refine documents for clarity, consistency, grammar, and punctuation.
- Identify and resolve inconsistencies in content, working with authors to implement necessary adjustments.
- Collaborate with stakeholders including production employees, technicians, engineers, project teams, and regulatory teams to understand product and process changes.
- Perform additional tasks as assigned by leadership.
Required Skills:
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Publisher); Adobe and Photoshop preferred.
- Strong technical writing, editing, and proofreading skills.
- Excellent English communication, negotiation, and relationship management abilities.
- Sharp problem-solving and critical-thinking skills.
- Comprehensive understanding of GMP policies, documentation formats, and assembly procedures.
- Ability to manage priorities effectively in fast-paced environments.
Education & Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in a related field.
- 0–2 years of experience required.
