Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Nurse Educator to join our team. The Nurse Educator will play a crucial role in training and educating nursing staff to ensure the delivery of high-quality patient care.
Responsibilities
- Provide education and training to nursing staff on medical-surgical practices, patient care, sonography, and vital signs monitoring
- Develop and implement educational programs on physiology knowledge, PICU, ICD-10 coding, and patient assessment techniques
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to enhance teaching hospital practices
- Evaluate staff learning needs and develop tailored educational plans
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of medical advancements and best practices
- Assist in the development of medical records documentation guidelines
Experience
- Previous experience in a teaching hospital setting preferred
- Strong background in medical-surgical nursing and patient care
- Proficiency in sonography, vital signs monitoring, and patient assessment
- Knowledge of PICU procedures and ICD-10 coding
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to adapt teaching methods to meet diverse learning styles
