Position Duties
- 1. Consult with design team to determine project objectives and construction work plan during project design phase.
- 2. Use project management tool Work Breakdown Structure (WBS) and operating timetable to determine construction sequence, estimate required time for each construction trade, and develop integrated Gantt to define critical path and forecast project completion.
- 3. Set up construction risk management matrix to identify construction risks and evaluate probability, cost impact and schedule impact to construction, and develop measures to mitigate potential risks.
- 4. Utilize Bluebeam to estimate the quantity of construction materials needed, form project budget and track project costs to meet the budget.
- 5. Utilize conventional engineering techniques and standards throughout entire construction period to provide technical guidance to contractors.
- 6. Draft reports and compare real time construction progress with the original Gantt Chart schedule to adjust the construction progress to ensure construction can be completed in a timely manner.
- 7. Comply with city inspection requirements and obtain necessary permits and services.
- 8. Prepare related documents to apply for the certificate of occupancy and meet bank inspection requirements for construction fund disbursement.
