Job Summary:
The IPA Data Analyst will play a crucial role in managing and analyzing healthcare data to support the IPA operations . This position will involve collecting, processing, and interpreting complex datasets to drive informed decision-making and improve patient care outcomes.
Key Responsibilities:
Data Collection & Management:
- Gather and maintain data from various sources, including electronic health records (EHR), claims data, and other healthcare and insurance plan databases.
- Ensure data integrity and accuracy through regular audits and quality checks.
Data Analysis:
- Analyze clinical and operational data to identify trends, patterns, and insights that support the IPA’s strategic initiatives.
- Utilize statistical methods and analytical tools to prepare reports and dashboards for stakeholders.
Reporting:
- Develop and present comprehensive reports that summarize findings and recommendations to management and clinical teams.
- Create visualizations and dashboards to facilitate data-driven decision-making.
Collaboration
- Work closely with cross-functional teams to support data-driven initiatives.
- Collaborate with external partners and stakeholders as needed to ensure data alignment and reporting accuracy.
- Regulatory Compliance:
- Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations and standards regarding data management and reporting.
- Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in data analysis and healthcare analytics.
Requirements
Education:
- Bachelor’s degree
Experience:
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in data analysis within the healthcare industry, preferably in MSO/IPA settings.
- Demonstrated experience with healthplan reporting sets.
Technical Skills:
- Familiarity with EHR systems and healthcare data standards
Analytical Skills:
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.
- Ability to interpret complex data and translate it into actionable insights.
Communication Skills:
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present findings to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Strong interpersonal skills to work effectively in a team environment.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Knowledge of healthcare quality metrics and performance improvement initiatives.
- Experience with predictive analytics
