Job Description:
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Utility Foreman to join our team. The successful candidate will work alongside our crew, overseeing and participating in various projects.
planning, execution, and completion in a quick and safe manner. This role requires strong leadership and excellent organizational skills and the ability to work effectively with various customers to ensure projects are completed on time, and to the highest quality of standards.
Key responsibilities:
project planning: detailed project plans, including scope timelines, collaborate with engineers, contractors, and other customers to ensure alignment and coordination through the project life cycle.
Site management: oversee day-to-day operations on-site, ensuring compliance with safety regulations, quality standards and project specifications.
Reporting: Prepare and present regular project updates, including progress reports, risk management assessments, and performance metrics to senior management.
Problem Solving: addressing and resolving any issues or obstacles that arise during the project, including technical challenges, delays or resource constraints.
Documentation: maintain accurate and up-to-date project documentation, including contracts, permits and change orders.
team leadership: lead, motivate and manage project teams, providing directions, guidance and support to ensure high performance and professional development qualifications.
Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and company policies
Coordinate with project managers and other team members to ensure smooth project execution
Maintain accurate records of work performed and materials used
Experience Requirements:
Proven experience as a Utility Foreman or similar role, experience in underground utility projects including experience with utility installation, trenching and related activities
Clean driver's license
Open availability to work flexible hours as needed typically hours are Mon-Fri 07:00a-3:30p overtime and weekends as needed.
Ability to work in various weather conditions and environments.
Must provide your own hard toe boots (composite/steel).
Must be able to read, write, and speak English proficiently.
