What are the responsibilities and job description for the Social Media Marketing Intern position at Triple Play Academy, LLC?
Triple Play Academy, LLC is a softball instruction company based out of Atlanta, GA. Our goal is to help the next generation of athletes learn and grow in this great sport. We are looking for a paid social media intern to help with our marketing efforts. This is an opportunity to build a portfolio in the sports industry, learn more about different aspects of social media marketing, and get hands on experience in content creation.
Responsibilities
- Develop social media content and copy for Instagram, Facebook, and TikTok accounts
- Assist with the production of video content (filming, editing, and sharing)
- Discover new trends that are relevant to the industry
- Engage with similar accounts and possible clients
- Track analytics and engagement on all social media sites
- Create and maintain a content calendar
- Other tasks, as assigned
Qualifications
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Impressive organizational skills
- Desire to learn more about social media marketing
- Personal and/or working experience in social media
- Interest and/or experience in the sports industry
- Interest in social media management and content collection/creation (videography, photography, graphic design, etc.)
- SOFTBALL / BASEBALL EXPERIENCE OR KNOWLEDGE PREFERRED BUT NOT REQUIRED
Internship Details
- Paid internship
- 10 hours a week for 5 weeks, possibility for extension
- Previous working experience not required
- If you are located in Atlanta, need to be able to commute to the Buckhead or Decatur area, depending on need of content collection
