Duties
- Perform routine cleaning and maintenance of floors, including sweeping, mopping, and vacuuming.
- Execute buffing and polishing of hard surface floors to maintain their shine and integrity.
- Conduct carpet cleaning using appropriate methods and equipment to ensure a clean environment.
- Ensure that all cleaning supplies and equipment are used safely and effectively.
- Adhere to environmental services standards by using eco-friendly products when applicable.
- Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to management promptly.
- Maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and notify management when stock is low.
- Follow established procedures for cleaning and sanitizing areas according to health regulations.
Requirements
- Previous experience in commercial cleaning or custodial services is preferred.
- Knowledge of floor care techniques, including buffing, carpet cleaning, and general maintenance practices.
- Ability to operate various cleaning equipment safely and effectively.
- Strong attention to detail with a commitment to delivering high-quality work.
- Excellent time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks efficiently.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Must be physically capable of performing the duties required, including lifting up to 50 pounds.

Expected hours: 20 – 30 per week
