Overview

About the Position

We are seeking a motivated Office Administrator to join our Arbor/Metals, Inc. – Mobile, AL branch. The ideal candidate will coordinate office activities, operations, and oversee our QMS program. They will also ensure all work is done on time.

Responsibilities

  • Directs office activities and functions to maintain efficiency and compliance with company policies.
  • Performs daily invoicing and receiving computer functions. Coordinates freight movements with appropriate carriers. Scans various documents into computer system.
  • Assists sales and support staff with their assigned duties, particularly when more advanced, skilled, or sensitive work is required.
  • Oversee the Maintaining of records, documentation, and files, particularly more complex or sensitive files.
  • Schedule and organize weekly Management Review Meetings
  • Communicate and track Quality Objectives performance with MR team and branch
  • Performs other related duties as assigned.
  • Complete any other projects requested by your Manager

Qualifications

Qualifications:

  • At least three years of office coordination and quality control experience in a distribution or manufacturing setting.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; Associates degree in office administration or related field preferred.
  • Highly organized and able to successfully manage multiple projects at once
  • Strong communication skills
