What are the responsibilities and job description for the Production Lead position at TriSearch?
A Production Leads job is tomove, store, and handle materials in a warehouse setting.They play a key role in production and logistics by ensuring that products get from manufacturers to consumers.This is a full-time in-person position, Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM.
Primary Responsibilities
Production:Working under supervision of Shop Foreman to assist with production of finished goods
Receiving and unloading:Using equipment like forklifts and pallet jacks to unload and receive freight, and checking for damaged goods, labeling every product and placing them accordingly
Inventory:Ensuring production has the materials it needs, working closely with Shop Foreman and Materials Manager
Shipping and receiving:Wrapping, packaging, and shipping materials, and delivering and retrieving supplies
Cleaning:Cleaning machinery, performing regular maintenance, and keeping loading and docking areas clear
General labor:Performing general housekeeping and sanitation tasks, and assembling and moving furniture
Skills and Qualifications Required
US Citizenship is required
3-5 years of experience working in a warehouse setting
Certification in forklift operation
Knowledge of operating other warehouse machinery, CNC experience a plus!
Data entry, math and computer skills
Physically fit with the ability to lift objects weighing up to 50 pounds
Effective team communication and collaboration skills
Attention to detail and problem-solving abilities
Excellent time management and organization
Written and verbal communication skills
Flexibility and willingness to adapt to a growing company and offer expertise to create operating standards
Possess communication, reading/writing
Basic computer skills required
