Trisian-Global Consulting LLC is seeking a highly skilled and experienced IT Business Analyst for an on-site position in the Memphis area.
Seeking W2 candidates only. NO C2C or Sponsorship.
The Information Technology (IT) Business Analyst acts as a bridge between the business and IT teams, ensuring that technology solutions align with business needs and objectives. This role involves analyzing business processes, identifying areas for improvement, gathering and documenting requirements, and working with technical teams to design and implement IT solutions that drive business success.
Key Responsibilities :
- Business Requirements Gathering & Analysis :
Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand their needs, challenges, and goals.
Elicit, document, and prioritize business requirements to guide IT solutions.Conduct feasibility analysis to assess business and technical requirements.Process Improvement & Solution Design :Analyze current business processes, identify inefficiencies, and recommend improvements.
Work with IT teams to design and implement technology solutions that meet business requirements.Ensure proposed solutions are scalable, cost-effective, and align with industry best practices.Communication & Stakeholder Management :Serve as the primary point of contact between business stakeholders and the IT team.
Prepare and deliver clear and concise documentation, presentations, and reports for stakeholders.Facilitate meetings, workshops, and discussions to gather and validate requirements.Project Management Support :Assist in defining project scope, goals, and deliverables.
Track project progress, ensure deadlines are met, and communicate risks and issues.Support the development and testing phases to ensure solutions meet business needs.Testing & Validation :Develop test plans and cases based on business requirements.
Coordinate user acceptance testing (UAT) to validate solutions and ensure alignment with business goals.Monitor post-implementation performance to ensure successful solution deployment.Documentation & Reporting :Maintain up-to-date documentation of requirements, processes, and technical specifications.
Create reports and presentations to communicate project status and performance metrics to stakeholders.Education / Experience / Skills :
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Information Systems, or a related field3 years of experience in business and data analysis, preferably in a consulting or IT environmentCertifications such as CBAP (Certified Business Analysis Professional) or PMI-PBA (Professional in Business Analysis) are a plusFamiliarity with ERP systems, CRM tools, or data analytics platforms is advantageousStrong understanding of database structures, data modeling, and data warehousing conceptsProficient in SQL and experience with data querying and reporting tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or QlikViewExperience with business process mapping and documentationExcellent analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret complex data sets and provide actionable insightsStrong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teamsDetail-oriented with a strong focus on accuracy and data integrityProven ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environmentKnowledge of Agile methodologies is a plus
