Director of Finance
Excellent non-profit organization with a hybrid schedule right in the heart of DC. Please see below a brief outline:
- Experience as a Controller or Assistant Controller
- Manages the GL, has experience with consolidations of multiple entities
- NetSuite experience a plus, experience with systems implementations and leading implementations
- Experience building a team and training staff accountants
- Previous experience labor unions or non-profit organizations a plus
- Self-starter and motivated, ability to multi-task
- Ability to manage accounting operations at multiple locations and managing remote staff
- Manages the month-end close process for 10 entities
- Ability to problem solve and present solutions to senior management
- Ability to work across the organization with multiple stakeholders, CFO, Board Members, Treasurers, Controllers
- Manage the relationships with vendors: banking, systems, consultants, etc.
- Seasoned manager with 5-10 year managing staff, leading teams.
- CPA or MBA a plus
Salary : $150,000 - $175,000
