Support a Fortune 500 Aero Defense company as a Systems Administrator.
Role is onsite. All candidates must be local (within a 90 minute drive) to Cedar Rapids.
Description
• You will support a variety of physical clients, servers, storage and networking equipment in restricted or secure laboratory spaces at the company sites
• You will maintain cyber compliance standards on company systems
• You will help in virtual Infrastructure Support
• You will resolve technical challenges using proven troubleshooting approaches and methodologies
Required qualifications
• U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance
• Must have active Secret Security clearance at start of employment.
• Typically requires a University Degree and minimum 2 years of prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field or in absence of a degree, 6 years of relevant experience.
• Experience with Network devices (managed switches, routers, firewalls) and network protocols (TCP/IP, etc)
• Experience with Desktop Support, Server Administration, and Virtualization Technologies (VMWare, etc.)
• Strong computer literacy – including x86 based hardware, Microsoft/Linux/Unix operating systems and systems administration.
• Security certifications (Security , GICSP/SSCP, GSEC, CASP , CCNP Security, CISSP.)
