Responsibilities
Trissential offers a competitive compensation package for full time roles. The pay range for this role is $98,000 to $108,000 annually depending on candidate's qualifications and experience. This role is eligible for benefits and includes options for medical, dental, vision, and tele-health benefits; Health Savings Account with company contribution; 3 weeks PTO, and 401k retirement savings.
Responsibilities
- Configure and deploy Remote Terminal Units (RTUs) and build SCADA system displays, ensuring reliable and efficient energy system operations
- Collaborate with field engineers, technicians, and project stakeholders to support installations and successful project execution
- Manage project workflows using tools like SI Tracker, maintaining alignment with client and industry standards
- Actively participate in team meetings to share insights and contribute to collective project success
- Provide real-time implementation support, working closely with field teams to ensure smooth transitions and optimal functionality
- 3-7 years of SCADA system experience (e.g., GE XA/21, Schneider Electric, or similar)
- 3-7 years of experience with ICCP (Inter-Control Center Communications Protocol) for real-time data exchange
- High school diploma required; Bachelor’s in Electrical or Computer Engineering preferred
- Hands-on experience in configuring RTUs, ICCP setups, display building, and real-time system support
- Deep knowledge of NERC-SIP compliance and the ability to apply it to ensure industry standards are met
- Strong project management capabilities, including managing communication with EPC, utilities, and other stakeholders to meet deadlines
- Effective communication and collaboration skills to ensure smooth team operations and project delivery
- Proficiency in programming or scripting languages (e.g., C, C , Linux) for system integration
- Familiarity with networking protocols and automation/control systems to optimize SCADA performance
- PMP certification to highlight your project management leadership
- Experience in a control center environment or with power grid utility operations
- 3-7 years of hands-on experience supporting utility/power grid operations, SCADA systems, and real-time grid support
