Responsibilities
Trissential offers competitive compensation package for full time roles. The pay range for this role is $107 000 to $117 000 annually based on candidate's qualifications and experience. This role is eligible for benefits and includes options for medical, dental, vision, and tele-health benefits; Health Savings Account with company contribution; 3 weeks PTO, and 401k retirement savings.
Responsibilities
- Partner with stakeholders to understand business challenges and design data-driven solutions
- Mentor team members, share expertise, and foster a collaborative culture
- Develop project plans and user stories for reporting enhancements and dashboard builds
- Collaborate with the Data Engineering team to validate data quality and inform future models
- Debug and trace data issues across platforms and source systems, implementing root-cause solutions
- Design and create dataflows, data models, and dashboards for robust analysis and reporting
- Conduct detailed analyses of complex datasets, reports, and source data to uncover insights
- Lead projects aimed at improving metadata, master data, and data quality
- Bachelor’s degree with 4 years of experience in Business Intelligence, Data Analytics, or Data Management, or equivalent work experience
- 3 years of hands-on SQL experience
- 1 years creating highly formatted reports using tools such as SSRS or Business Objects
- Prior exposure to the insurance domain (e.g., Underwriting, Claims, Finance) is a plus
- Proficiency in SQL for data extraction and analysis
- Hands-on experience with Microsoft Power BI or similar visualization tools
- Strong problem-solving, critical thinking, and attention to detail
- Ability to collaborate with business stakeholders and technical teams with minimal supervision
- Familiarity with Jira and Databricks is a plus
- Expertise in diagnosing data quality issues and developing sustainable solutions
- Enthusiasm for learning new tools and adapting in a fast-paced environment
- Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite
- Knowledge of data quality, metadata management, and master data concepts
- Experience in designing, debugging, and optimizing dataflows
- Demonstrated success in transforming business requirements into actionable insights
- Proven ability to manage multiple priorities while delivering high-quality results
