Your role is vital to our success. We are seeking a passionate Nuclear Medicine Technologist like you to make a positive impact on our patients' lives.
Job Summary and Qualifications
The Nuclear Medicine Technologist performs essential nuclear medicine and PET CT examinations, ensuring the highest quality of service and imaging. Responsibilities include receiving, calibrating, logging, administering, and monitoring radioactive isotopes while adhering to all safety regulations.
Key Responsibilities :
Conduct nuclear medicine exams promptly and in accordance with established protocols.
Handle, calibrate, and administer radioactive isotopes carefully.
Provide radiation safety support as necessary.
Maintain detailed reports and accurate patient records.
Coordinate patient flow and ensure completion of all exams.
Educate patients about procedures and address their concerns.
Communicate professionally with colleagues, physicians, patients, and families.
Keep all required licenses and certifications current.
Prepare patients for examinations while adhering to ICARE values.
Assist in the discharge process by providing essential instructions.
Demonstrate technical skills and knowledge regarding radioactive materials.
Ensure proper disposal of radioactive waste per regulatory guidelines.
Qualifications :
Graduation from an accredited Nuclear Medicine program.
Current certification by CNMT or ARRT (N).
BLS certification required.
PET CT experience is preferred.
