Job Summary and Qualifications
As a Phlebotomist Coordinator at our facility you will be an integral part of our Laboratory team. We are a highly functioning team that supports many different departments and has a passion for providing the best patient care through compassionate, professional interactions and reliable testing. In this role:
You will coordinate laboratory processes of test ordering, scheduling, registration, interpreting physician orders, and report distribution.
You will be responsible for the daily billing process of patients by the Laboratory department, ensuring that patients have been billed properly and for the correct tests.
You will act as a resource for all clerical/phlebotomy staff members.
You will arrange for procedures to be performed and give accurate and thorough collection procedures to patients.
You will complete any special projects assigned by the Laboratory Director.
Qualifications:
Minimum one year of phlebotomy experience preferred.
Good verbal and writing skills required.
Good computer knowledge and keyboarding skills required.
