We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Home Health Aide to provide essential support to our clients in their homes. As a Home Health Aide, you will play a crucial role in assisting individuals with their daily activities and personal care needs, while ensuring effective communication and rapport with our diverse clientele
Responsibilities:
- Assist clients with activities of daily living including bathing, grooming, dressing, and toileting
- Provide companionship with emotional support to clients while promoting their independence and well-being.
- Assist with light housekeeping tasks, such as meal preparation, laundry, and tidying up living spaces.
- Administer medications as prescribed by healthcare professionals under the direction of a nurse or supervisor.
- Monitor clients'; health and report any changes or concerns to the care team
- Help clients with mobility and transfers, using appropriate techniques and equipment.
- Document care provided and observations in a timely and accurate manner
- Collaborate with the care team to contribute to the development and implementation of individualized care plans.
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or Equivalent
- Valid Home Health Aide Certification
- Ability to follow care plans and instructions from supervisors
- Familiarity with Medical Software and Equipment
- Strong communication skills to interact effectively with clients, their families, and the care team.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and adhere to ethical standards
- Current CPR/BLS Certificate
- Valid California Driver's License
Pay: $30.00 - $40.00 per hour
