Project Manager Estimator Job Description
This is a Project Manager/Estimator role where you will manage awarded projects/orders from start to finish. You will be responsible for ensuring projects/orders are delivered on time and within budget while meeting or exceeding customer expectations.
The position supports the achievement of established sales and financial objectives.
The key responsibilities include:
- Maintaining relationships with existing customers, developing relationships with new customers, and supporting prospects for new business.
- Collaborating with Estimating, Programming, Purchasing, and Operations teams to ensure lead time, quality, and profitability targets for each awarded project/order are achieved.
- Supporting all Quality Management System requirements along with specific customer requirements.
- Ensuring all proper job activation requirements are met.
- Participating in daily Nitro Production Meetings and weekly Capacity Planning Sessions.
- Overseeing projects to ensure quality of work and adherence to budget, timeline, and specifications.
- Managing subcontractors to ensure Quality, Lead Time, and Profitability levels are met.
- Overseeing contract billings, approving subcontractor and supplier invoices, and reviewing job cost reports to monitor progress compared to the estimate.
- Performing other duties as requested.
- Following company policies, procedures, and safety rules, and conducting self always in a professional, ethical, and courteous manner as a representative of the Company.
To perform this job successfully, an individual must have three to five years of related experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
This is a direct hire position with a pay rate of $70,000-$85,000 based on experience, working full-time hours from Monday to Friday, and a business casual dress code.
