TriStarr's client is looking to bring on an HR Generalist to join their team on a direct-hire basis. This role is based in Manheim, PA and we are actively looking for immediately available candidates.
As the HR Generalist, you will play a pivotal role in assisting in the day-to-day HR operations to support our workforce across six divisions. From recruitment and onboarding to employee relations and compliance, you’ll ensure our team members feel supported, valued, and equipped to succeed.
Key Responsibilities:
- Recruitment and Onboarding: Coordinate the hiring process, including job postings, interviews, and onboarding, ensuring new hires have a seamless start.
- Employee Relations: Act as a trusted advisor for employees and management, addressing workplace issues, resolving conflicts, and promoting a positive work environment.
- Policy Implementation: Assist with administering and updating company policies to ensure compliance with local, state, and federal laws.
- Benefits Administration: Assist with employee benefits programs; enrollments and addressing benefits-related inquiries.
- Training and Development: Identify training needs, coordinate learning opportunities, and support career growth initiatives.
- HR Data Management: Maintain accurate employee records and generate reports to inform decision-making.
- Compliance and Reporting: Ensure adherence to all regulatory requirements, including EEO, FMLA, and OSHA.
- Performance Management: Support managers in conducting performance reviews, setting goals, and addressing performance issues.
What You Bring:
You are a detail-oriented, results-driven HR professional looking to grow your knowledge in Human Resources practices and principles. Your ability to manage competing priorities while maintaining a people-first approach sets you apart.
- Experience: 2-5 years of human resources experience, with manufacturing or construction experience preferred.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills to build trust and rapport with diverse teams.
- Problem-Solving: Proactive approach to addressing challenges and implementing solutions that benefit both employees and the organization.
- Organizational Skills: Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Tech Savvy: Proficiency with HRIS systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Knowledge of Employment Laws: Solid understanding of applicable laws and regulations, ensuring compliance and minimizing risk.
