Job Summary:
The Administrative assistant ensures the office environments are smoothly functioning, well organized manner. ln addition to maintaining clerical and customer service duties, this individual's responsibilities include assisting billers as needed to ensure the timely and accurate completion of bills, supporting billing processes, and working in tandem with maintenance as administrative support.
Skills and Abilities:
- Demonstrated proficiency with relevant hospital software applications, along with standard office; Equipment and PC software
- Experience in operating multi-line phone systems
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Familiarity with third-party billing procedures
- Ability to work well both with others and independently
- Excellent organizational skills and the ability to establish priorities effectively
- Exhibits punctuality, dependability, and flexibility
- Displays friendly demeanor and strong interpersonal and customer service skills
Qualifications:
Education and Training:
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- College coursework or degree preferred
Experience:
- Previous experience working in an administrative or clerical capacity
- 1-3 years of experience working in a medical office or similar environment preferred
