Job Summary:
- Check permitting requirements for different jurisdictions and updating the information into TriStruX's internal platforms.
- Build relationships with plan checkers and staff at different jurisdictions.
- Complete a permit application and additional forms for each project as required by the jurisdiction.
- Submit designs to jurisdictions for permit processing and approval (in person or online).
- Monitor permit progress and follow up with plan checkers on the phone or through email.
- Ensure that Project Managers are kept up to date as projects progress through the permitting process.
- Document communication with jurisdictions on permit statuses in various TriStruX platforms.
- Perform other tasks and duties as required.
Education and Experience:
- High school diploma, GED, or associate degree preferred.
- Prior experience with city/county permitting process is preferred.
- Excellent customer service and strong written and verbal communication skills.
- General computer skills especially with Microsoft Office and Google Docs.
- Strong and independent work ethic.
- Solid organizational skills, including multitasking and time-management.
- Strong teamwork and ability to strongly integrate with our current organization
- Valid Driver's License required.
