Job Summary:
The Talent Sourcing Specialist reports to the Chief Human Resources Officer and has a dotted line to the HRSP East. This role is primarily hybrid time with up to 1 day a week in our Clifton, NJ office.
The Talent Sourcing Specialist's responsibilities include searching different mediums and networks to identify potential candidates, sending recruiting emails, and organizing an effective employee referral system. To be successful in this role, you should combine sourcing techniques with excellent verbal and written communication skills while being an excellent brand ambassador for TriStruX! Ultimately, you will be responsible for building a solid talent pipeline for our company's current and future staffing needs.
Responsibilities:
- Use job boards (really, LinkedIn, etc.) to source for and connect with potential candidates
- Interact with professionals on niche platforms
- Work with Trade schools and Industry Networks to identify candidates
- Review online portfolios and resumes to pre-screen candidates
- Collaborate with hiring managers to identify each position's requirements
- Send recruiting emails and follow up with candidates, hiring managers, and HRSP
- Negotiate temporary and direct placement agencies agreements
- Contact past applicants for new job opportunities & ask for referrals from internal/external resources
- Develop a network of potential candidates and industry professionals
- Ensure managers use the Applicant Tracking System and other internal databases to submit new open positions (train as needed)
- Measure and report monthly/quarterly on recruiting all metrics to ensure success
- Work with Market HRSP and Hiring Managers to identify future hiring needs and proactively source potential hires
- Update and submit weekly open job requisition Excel report for CHRO and CEO
- Run all background screening, drug testing, reference checks, complete all job offers and notify all applicable staff when a candidate has been hired and moved into the onboarding process
- Supports/completes special Human Resources projects as directed by the CHRO/HRSP on an as need basis
Requirements:
- 7-10 years of proven, successful experience as a Talent Sourcing Specialist, Recruiter or similar role
- Associate or bachelor’s degree required
- Hands-on experience with Applicant Tracking Systems (ATSs) and other Human Resources Management software required, Paycor (Newton) ATS system a plus!
- Five years of experience and developing/ensuring positive/productive relationships with hiring managers
- Proven experience with really and LinkedIn job boards
- Proficient knowledge of Excel, Word, and Outlook
- Familiarity with social networks, professional sites, and resume databases Excellent Strong knowledge of labor laws for job postings, interviewing, Fair Credit Reporting Act, etc.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills (particularly business email writing knowledge)
- Good time management skills with the ability to handle/juggle a multitude of open positions simultaneously
- Sense of extreme urgency
