Local heavy/highway contractor seeking qualified applicants for a Human Resources Specialist.
Applicant will be responsible for all areas of Human Resources. Key responsibilities include:
· Reviewing applicants and conduct initial interviews
· Onboarding new hires as well as maintenance of onboarding platform
· Handle all government mandated reporting of new hires
· Ongoing maintenance of employee records and certifications
· Benefits administration
· Ensure compliance with labor laws and company policies including EEO
· Handle distribution, dissemination and education of company policies
· Distribute and maintain company phones and electronic devices as needed
Applicant qualifications include a Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, prior work experience in an HR role, strong communication skills and knowledge of labor laws.

Pay: $55,000.00 - $65,000.00 per year
