Construction Project Manager
General Contractor located in Bremerton Washington with a focus on marine, heavy civil and industrial projects is
looking for an experienced Project Manager to join our team. Opportunities include managing new and future projects primarily at the various Naval Base Kitsap facilities, Naval Magazine Indian Island, Naval Station Everett and Naval Air Station Whidbey Island. Ideal candidates will have Federal Government project experience, take ownership and pride in all aspects of the successful project execution and will be a self-motivated team player.
Triton Marine Construction Corp. is based in Bremerton Washington but actively works in several geographical locations throughout the United States including Hawaii and the east coast. Our diverse team of experienced professionals successfully executes challenging projects for various State and Federal Clients.
Position requirements:
- Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Project Manager.
- Minimum of 5 combined years of experience as a Superintendent, QC Manager, Project Manager, or
Project Engineer on similar size and type construction contracts.
- Organized with good verbal and written communication skills develop and the ability to maintain a cohesive project team.
- At a minimum, proficient in Microsoft Office & Bluebeam software and have the ability to quickly adapt to new
- Manage material take-offs from plans and specs, evaluate quotes and proposal for material and
subcontractors and oversee procurement activities including subcontracts.
- Identify, track and develop cost proposals for contract changes.
- Describe and detail project procedures and steps from development, permitting, and construction
execution necessary to accomplish a specific objective for various types of work.
- Manage and update construction schedule using P6 scheduling software.
- Ensure construction projects are completed on time, within budget, and to a high standard of quality.
- Track the progress of assigned project and actively communicate status updates, challenges and required
support for successful project completion.
- Be able to read and understand construction plans and specifications.
- Ability to pass drug screening (at time of hire and randomly while employed)
- Ability to gain federal base access.
- Familiar with USACE EM 385-1-1 and OSHA regulations.
- Experienced in the areas of hazard identification and safety compliance working with Site Safety Personnel.
Preferred Qualification:
- A graduate of a four-year accredited college or university program in one of the following disciplines:
Engineering, Architecture, Construction Management, Engineering Technology, Building Construction, or
Building Science
- Availability to travel to other States for short-term and long-term assignments.
