What are the responsibilities and job description for the Quality Control Manager position at Triton Marine Construction Corp?
State and federal contractor looking for an individual who possesses recent experience as a QCM on federal projects. Individual must be a self-motivated team player with proficient computer skills. Immediate need is for Kitsap County area but opportunities can arise at Triton’s various locations.
Position requirements:
- Valid driver license
- Minimum of 2 years of experience as a QC Manager
- Minimum of 5 combined years of experience as a Superintendent, QC Manager, Project Manager, or Project Engineer on similar size and type construction contracts.
- Ability to pass drug screening (at time of hire and randomly while employed)
- Ability to gain federal base access
- Completed the NAVFAC/USACE course entitled “Construction Quality Management (CQM) for Contractors,” and maintain a current certificate.
- Conduct and document daily quality control duties, as required by the contract
- Familiar with USACE EM 385-1-1
Preferred qualification:
- A graduate of a four-year accredited college or university program in one of the following disciplines: Engineering, Architecture, Construction Management, Engineering Technology, Building Construction, or Building Science
