Job Summary:
As a Leasing Agent, you will be the first point of contact for prospective residents, playing a critical role in the leasing process. Your primary responsibilities will include showing available properties, answering inquiries, processing rental applications, and ensuring a smooth move-in process for new residents. Key Responsibilities:
- Property Tours: Conduct property tours for prospective residents, highlighting key features and amenities, and providing detailed information about available units.
- Lead Management: Respond promptly to inquiries via phone, email, or in person, and follow up with prospective residents to convert leads into leases.
- Application Processing: Assist applicants in completing rental applications, collect necessary documentation, and verify applicant information.
- Lease Preparation: Prepare and execute lease agreements in accordance with company policies and legal requirements.
- Move-In/Move-Out Coordination: Assist residents with the move-in/move-out process, ensuring all paperwork is complete and providing information about community rules and services. Schedule
- Customer Service: Maintain a high level of customer service by addressing resident concerns, answering questions, and providing general information about the community.
- Manage Maintenance Requests: Ability to assist current residents maintenance requests and first level maintenance triage.
- Marketing Support: Assist with marketing efforts, including online listings, social media posts, and community events to attract potential residents.
- Administrative Tasks: Perform various administrative duties such as maintaining accurate records of prospects, updating property management software, processing security deposits/rent and assisting with general office duties.
Qualifications:
- Experience: Previous experience in leasing, property management, or a related field is required.
- Travel: Reliable transportation needed to cover multiple locations in three county area.
- Education: Associates Degree or Undergraduate Degree with experience.
- Skills:
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Comfortable with decision making and problem solving.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
- Familiarity with property management software is a plus.
