Position: Lead Service Technician
Job Description:
We are seeking a motivated and skilled Lead Service Technician to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for performing maintenance and repairs on a variety of vessels, both on the hard and in their slips. Your work will take place at our home base as well as marinas along the coast. The ideal candidate will have a strong knowledge of ABYC standards, a passion for learning new skills, and a willingness to pursue ongoing education and certifications.
Responsibilities:
- Perform maintenance and repair tasks on a variety of vessels, both on the hard and in their slips.
- Travel to marinas to work on boats in their slips.
- Adhere to ABYC standards in all work performed.
- Stay updated with the latest techniques and advancements in the field.
- Participate in ongoing training and certification programs.
Qualifications:
- Knowledge of ABYC standards.
- Willingness to learn and adapt to new techniques.
- Strong problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent communication skills.
Requirements:
- Willingness to travel for work.
- Commitment to continuous education and certification.
- Relevant experience in marine service and repair.
