Triumph's state-of-the-art facility processes in excess of 6 million hogs each year, and features the latest food quality, safety innovations, and humane handling practices in the industry. The Company prides itself on producing the highest quality pork products found in the market today.

SUMMARY: Responsible for all export document and verification functions in the shipping/billing/traffic area. Provide assistance and training for other export/billing clerks, assist in the preparation of export documentation and verification of all information prior to involving USDA and before the product leaves the plant.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES: None.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following:

. Work with Load Coordinators in shipping to schedule Export Loads for picking.

. Prepare/review all required Export Paperwork (Application, Health Certificate, BOL etc.) prior to involving USDA.

. Maintain control over the USDA issued stamps and review bi-lingual stickers, as required by each country.

. On the Application reasonable estimates (i.e. 10%) for product quantity and weights may be used to obtain the Certificate from the USDA, but what is ultimately used on the Certificate must be less than what is listed on the Application.

. Verify Box/Combo Descriptions, Box/Combo Counts and Product Codes picked with Order as product is staged on the dock.

. Verify proper placement and numbering of USDA Export Stamps/Stickers on Boxes, ensuring the quantity of product stamps agrees to the Health Certificate and USDA Stamp Export number agrees to Certificate.

. Ensure control over each Seal used for exports.

. Verify that the Export Load is correctly billed in accordance with the same information on the Health Certificate (MPG).

. Maintain permanent file records of all export load documents, review and approvals.

. Make all requests to the USDA for review and signoff after internal verifications have been conducted and documented for Applications and Health Certificates. No other TF employees should call USDA unless Export Verification personnel is absent.

. Take a digital picture of the load on the trailer prior to closing the doors. Maintain in permanent file.

. Verify temperature setting on trailer and documents prior to shipping of container. Document in file.

. Cross Train on all of the Billing duties such that there is back-up and cross functionality in these functions for PTO, turnover and absenteeism.

. Perform special projects as may be assigned by Accounting or others in Management.

. Identify and timely report problems or deficiencies with recommendations for resolving to Accounting or others in Management.

. Review manual and automated reports and determine accuracy, need and use by management or are required by local, state or governmental regulations.

. Develop a collaborative relationship built on mutual trust with senior management and other personnel with whom you need to maintain good rapport in order to successfully accomplish your job.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE: A High School diploma or equivalent and 2 years experience in a service or inventory control environment or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, color vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus. Must be able to climb ladders and platforms, and enter confined spaces and wear all safety equipment. Must occasionally lift and/or move up to 40 pounds or more.

Regularly exposed to cold/hot and/or humid conditions, climate extremes are found in all areas of the plant
Frequently works near machinery with moving parts and vibration
Regularly exposed to strong odors and the sight of blood
Regular Exposure to cleaning and sanitation chemicals, hazardous material and waste as well as fumes or airborne particles
Risk of electrical shock and vibration
Noise level in the work environment is moderate but can be loud when in the production area
